I am passionate about animals and am very concerned about their exploitation to meet demands in a market fuelled by status and myth.  My recent research has concentrated on rhinos affected by poaching based on the belief that their horns are effective cures for conditions such as cancer and hangovers.

My current art practice is the development of fine art strategies which engage the viewer through empathy together with information to promote awareness of the suffering of animals such as the rhino.  These strategies are non-explicit suitable for all groups of people including children.
